Dumbo Bound

I am loving the Disney Bound Series! It is so much fun being able to choose any character and going out shopping and thrifting to get outfits that will pay tribute to them in an everyday way! I love the fact that I can wear an outfit and it looks good and then when someone asks about the outfit I can tell them who I can dressed as without looking like a costume!

Today I am Disney Bounding as Dumbo! A very adorable baby elephant that I fell in love with and wanted a challenge to bound that was not a human character!

Dumbo Bound

I know up above I said I wanted a challenge and you are probably looking at this outfit and thinking how was this hard to create? Well let me tell you, choosing a character that has little to no clothing on in the movie because they are an animal is difficult!

I obviously had to have grey due to the fact that Dumbo is an elephant..... spoiler alert! And I added in the red from the red and gold head band he wear later on in the movie! By the way, this summer is the season of plazzo pants, I am obsessed and okay with that! I have worn this look to work as well, making me feel like the star of the show, just like Dumbo! These pants give me life and I don't know why!

Dumbo is a great inspirational character, I remember watching the original when I was younger and loving his courage! Also this movie always made me cry so the live action was a sob-fest as the it looked so real and his emotions and facial expressions ...... hurt my heart!
