This fall I have seen a massive elbow patch trend! On sweaters, coats, jackets and even pyjamas!!
So I decided to jump on board with this fashion trend..... Disney style!
It is hard to see in the above picture but there is elbow patches there I promise!
Material you need to make this project:
Sweater
Felt (or any other material you wish to use)
Fabric glue
Fabric Scissors
This project only took about 5 minutes plus drying time!
I went with a cream coloured turtle neck that I have had for a few years, and a light beige colour for the felt.
Using a pencil I traced out the shape of the Mickey on the felt.
You can fold the piece of felt in half and cut out two at a time or trace it twice!
Using fabric glue, cover the full felt cut out. Do not use to much as it may soak through the felt.
Also using a piece of paper or card board, cut out a small enough piece to go into the sleeve.
This helps stop the glue from bleeding onto the front of the sleeve.
Stick the patch to where ever you like on the elbow area!
Allow a couple hours for the glue to fully dry before putting it on!
DONE!
You can add different shaped patches to any type of sweater!
Try bows, Mickey gloves or even a full Mickey and Minnie cut out (one on each arm.)
