Winnie the Pooh DIY Costume

For the second DIY costume of the 10/10 series (Under 10 minutes and 10 dollars).

I chose to do the lovable and kind, Winnie the Pooh!

All you need for this project is:

Red T shirt

Yellow Paint

Yellow Felt

Head Band

Wire or Pipe Cleaners

First, remember to place cardboard inside the shirt, this ensures that paint does not soak

through to the back. I started by tracing with a white pencil crayon the size and spacing of the letters.

Once you are happy with size and placement use the yellow paint and paintbrush to paint Pooh's name on the shirt.

You might want to do a couple of layers to make it pop as the red absorbs the yellow colour.

Next you need to cut 4 circles out of the yellow felt. Using wire or pipe cleaners make a semi circle and

glue in between 2 pieces of felt leaving the bottom of the wire exposed.

Bending the wire outwards glue onto the head band .

Total cost for materials:

T shirt: $5 from Michaels Craft Store

Felt: $0.50 from Michaels Craft Store

Head Band: $1 from Adrene or Dollar Store

Paint: $1 from Michaels Craft Store

Done!

Complete this look with yellow leggings or even beige skinny jeans!
